I wish someone would write me a song - about me And all my little idiosyncracies Give it a catchy tune so it will get stuck in your head And I will know that the whole world is thinking about me Even if only you and me know I wish I was married to some famous revered poet Who wrote about our love and described it in such beauty that even I - the one experiencing 1/2 the love - would be amazed But most of all - I wish my poetry would touch people in such a way That I could fill them with any emotion I wanted I wish you knew my poems were about you and they could change your mind about me "Time really does fly by and no one knows where it goes, so if you have something to say or do, say or do it now." |

Hi Sarah! This poem is very interesting, and has me sitting here thinking! I like the idea of wishing someone would write a song about you, but how about they wrote a whole cd about you? That way you'd be more than a one hit wonder Enjoyed the read! RP |

(big hugggsssssss) I can understand how you feel, sweet friend, this is indeed very powerful! (sigh) I am sure when you find your love, he'd love to dedicate dozens of poems or songs to you! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sarah, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
