Attitude…Between the Lines
By Larry Chadwick

You really must be kidding,

Bite me
If you think it is that way.
Bite me
Just because you say it,
Bite me
Doesn’t mean I believe you anyway.

I don’t recall I asked you,

Bite me
If you had for me advice.
Bite me
And why would I follow it,
Bite me
When you don’t treat me nice.

Though I show respect,

Bite me
It isn’t always easy.
Bite me
But I do the best I can,
Bite me
Without behaving just plain sleazy.

I’m coping the best I know how,

Bite me
With my feelings deep inside.
Bite me
Though it isn’t all that easy,
Bite me
To stem this swelling tide.

So wear your tinted glasses,

Bite me
For some words are classified.
Bite me
I’ll keep my feelings to myself,
Bite me
Or else I’ll wish I’d died.

Lori,
Just some phrases that can't be resisted for this series. They may spew me out but they won't eat me up. Thanks.

Helen,
Thanks!

Hehe..my sis (young) had a sticker made to put on her car that said "Bite Me" across her front windshield..don't ask..but anyways..I put a banner across it once that said "Already Been Chewed" when she got into a fender bender!..she didn't think it was funny.

Enjoyed this!!!

Sincerely,
Regina

Be careful of to whom you send this poem, Larry...
Chomp chomp...some of us critters have mighty sharp teeth!

Great poem anyway, at least from this rodent's viewpoint.   ~supergrin~

It can't bite if it doesn't fit...right? LOL Thanks.

M,
ROTFL Is it my imagination or are you just a ton more fun these days? I love that response boat loads. Thank you.
