peano's postulate

I am the other
and I will now speak.

Peano's postulate states:
1 is a positive integer,
and every positive integer
has a unique positive integer
as its successor,
no positive integer has 1 as its successor,
and if the successor of A
equals the successor of B,
then A = B.
From which comes the set
of all positive integers.

Thus, the liar states:
Everything I say is a lie.

nakdthoughts -- the first part is used to prove the set of positive integers; since the set is infinite, it cannot be listed and must be proven logically.  "Everything I say is a lie" is not infinite, is not logical, and cannot be proven.  The middle part is illogical.  The second part is used to prove the validity of an equation such as n(n+1)= n + n squared; since this set is also infinite, it must be proven.  I like math too.  Thank you.

BRAVO!!! Yes, I think it is indeed very safe to say that every number can be an integer that is whole, the variables sometimes tend to confuse me but I can agree with this theory the mathematician said in your words! (big hugggssssss) This is powerfully thought-provoking, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Noah -- Haha! yes, that would be a very safe assumption.  I'm glad you enjoyed it.  I am learning a lot about different view points.  Thank you.
