View me again in shades of glitter remembering that we, quiet soul, are always Thrown forward by the hand of life flying into air unseen by these hands Floating and sparkling in brilliances twisting and turning in rainbow eddys Occasionally constant and constantly occasional with swirls of color and rays of life Watch me settle over your mind and heart I can touch even the darkest of hearts Like that fine-flecked eversparkle dust and the grayest of lonely existences So that, when you brush me away when you could never before be reached by me One or two tiny motes of me will remain to now share with you this same desire To remind your heart of its inherent joy the desire to make the world more colorful And to remind your life everalways with each stroke of the brush and the pen Of the sparkle until our lives are the color of us Note: The idea of this came to me while thinking of "quarter notes, half notes" and the like. Take a sheet of regular paper, and fold it into quarters. Then, write a poem on the first quarter. Next, write a poem on the second quarter. Put them together, and you've got a "half poem" made up of two "quarter poems". You can even write on the next two quarters to make a "whole poem". Each poem functions on its own, and together. Makes it kind of neat, don't you think?  Thanks.------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.
