Lonely, Empty.
© 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved

V1:
I think it will be for the best
If she just clear her stuff and leave,
Because right now I'd like to
Stand alone on this mountain peek.
Where she left me, lonely, empty...

V2:
Now I'm just a shadow of who
She really wanted me to be,
Guess I didn't meet her standards
'Cause now I'm drowning in the sea.
Where she left me, lonely, empty...

C:
I'm gonna miss her, but us torn,
Is prob'ly best in the long run.
No more crying, no more heartaches,
No more trying, to ease the pain.
And this time I know it's for sure,
'Cause her shib's leaving the harbor.
Where she left me, lonely, empty.

V3:
Finally all her things are gone
Not a piece of her left in me,
I'm ready to begin my life
So I'm burning the memories.
Where she left me, lonely, empty...

Re-C.

B:
There's monday night football
With the guys at the bar,
I can get caught stealing
From the old cookie jare.
And nobody will care,
'Cause I'm the only one there.
Where she left me, lonely, empty

Re-C.

Hallucination,

I enjoyed the repetition and the theme of this but it could be improved if you spellcheck
Keth

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
