Friendship…Between the Lines By Larry Chadwick I watch you from a distance, I am always here for you Observing what you do. I am always here for you Knowing the choices are yours, I am always here for you And always trusting you. The struggles are not easy, I am always here for you Know one ever said they are. I am always here for you But it doesn’t mean I like it, I am always here for you As I observe you from afar. You know I’d like to help you, I am always here for you And you know I have advice. I am always here for you But that doesn’t make me right, I am always here for you Just because I want to be nice. So I do what I seldom can, I am always here for you And just offer a helping hand. I am always here for you You know I’d rather fix things, I am always here for you And do whatever I can. It seems I am learning more from you, I am always here for you From watching how you choose. I am always here for you It’s not exactly how I’d do it, I am always here for you But if I risked our friendship…I’d be the one to lose. This was harder than I thought, I am always here for you More complicated than it seemed. I am always here for you You have much to offer, I am always here for you Much more than I ever dreamed.
