Hip-Hop~ The Rhyme Won't Stop
~*Marge Tindal*~

Once upon new Easter Day time
I found a bunny hopping rhyme
Hippity-Hoppity with the beat
Showing kids new poetry treat

He hid words in grass so tall
So they'd never find them all
Then with basket held in hand
Merry kids go search the land

Hunting different on this day
Words when found kid must say
Must use it in a poetic rhyme
Not just once - but two times

Relating it to new Easter Day
Hear what children had to say
E-G-G-S signify new B-I-R-T-H
So He'd preach peace on earth

S-I-N is never done to friend
Turn thy cheek time and again
F-O-R-G-I-V-E we all shall do
As the Lord hath forgiven you

R-I-S-E-N up to Heaven's door
His promise to us forevermore
Now says Easter Bunny sweetly
Eat your chocolate egg neatly

Marge:  This is charming and also tells some of the things Easter means.  I'm sure children will love it as well as adults. I'll show it to Ron tomorrow.  Great job.

Auntie Margie girl this is so very very cute, in your own inimitable way you have given the true Easter message in a way that children can relate to. I like this a whole lot. You are an excellent writer you know. Wonderful writing, and Easter HUG's to you and yours. happy Easter

Such a basket filled with friends
Greet of day on gently-blown wind
May you find new word in egg-play
Scrambling a new friendship today

Sharing the poem with friends and kids
Is about the greatest thing I ever did
Painted a glowing smile upon this face
That nothing under that sun will erase
