Crucified

On His back was placed a cross
Heavy with the sins of man.
He was made to pay the cost
As was written in the plan.
Beaten, whipped, scourged, deserted.
He alone bore all the pain.
From the minds of men perverted.
Happy not till He was slain.
Placed a thorned crown on His head.
Pounded nails in hands and feet.
Put Him in the tomb when dead,
Thinking now their job complete.
Voice from heaven "It is done,
This is My Beloved Son"

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Floria, it always makes me cry just envisioning all the anguish He had to endure but I also cry tears of hope knowing that He is His son, and in spite of this misery, He chose by free-will to do this to save us all and offer His love in exchange! (big hugggsssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a powerfully captivating Easter poem, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Floria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light alwyas shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Floria darling girl Oh my this is spectacular a wonderful start to this momentous week, from Palm Sunday through to Easter Sunday it is a week when our minds and prayers to him seem to be especially poignant.

This is a wonderful poetic depiction of the Lords passion. It truly is a beautiful piece of writing and I love it. Utterly utterly excellent

Floria...the story is never-ending
as we are the pages that flutter, written
and our souls are the chapters, written to be.
Lucky is the man who believes
blessed are those who have seen His Future.

wonderful write,

Amazingly beautiful, Floria...
Though I am not a Christian...I still think it is a touching story and a beautiful poem.

Happy Easter!
