Dark Stranger

He was not so
Dark in his enlightenment

This stranger that
Crept in

A twisting turn
Of honor bent

Swept me right within

He cornered my eye
With deepest, pure intent

In dark of night
He honored me

Then by his whisper, went

Sounds like  gentleman... that left the whispers to remind you that one doesn't have to talk loud to be hears or to make a lasting impression.

nicely done...

Hm, I think I know this guy, too. No gentleman in the long run.
Very effective.
