Magnificent seas "lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, " NIV Psalms 148:8 The roaring of the ocean is overtaking me Winds aloft are soaring, chasing clouds out to the sea Water swells are roaring high; they beat upon my door Waves of force like dragon's breath pound sharply at my shore. Come sit with me upon a rock; you will surely see The waltz of God in fury; He storms across the sea He cleanses earth; gives rebirth; I calmly watch it all On my beach as sea gulls screech I see a cold night fall. I hear whispers from your soul, beyond the farthest star Why do you haunt me? I walk alone, not where you are? If I could find a little peace I'd rest ever more Now I dance to energy, the ocean at my door. Come lie with me upon the sand; fuse your soul in mine Let us two be new grains of gold upon the beach of time We will view the highest blue; search for a distant star Into heavens over seas, find new peace where you are. The roaring of the ocean is overtaking me Winds aloft are soaring, chasing clouds out to the sea Into heavens over awesome magnificent seas. Thank you, Bonnie for stopping by. This Poem was written for an aging widow who lives alone on an isolated strip of northern Pacific coast. The ocean is her life and she writes poetry about the seas.
