Only to You

I want you to hear my
voice
then give back to me your impression
of its color

Tell me of its depth
as it whispers across
your soul

Let go of your inhibitions
if it delights you
in silk

Or if it cobbles your
walk to yesterday

Or rasps you a new home
where the sawdust
bears your footprints

Yes ~ tell me how
you hear
this voice ~
the one that speaks
only to you

only in
love’s tone

Splendid poem, Soleil Noir.  Beautifully written and full of exquisite notes of love.
