The Sun It is a beautiful day And it seems like the sun is calling out my name: "Lance! Lance!" "Yes!" I reply. "No," the Sun says, "Not you." "Oh . . . Well, you did say Lance, right?" "No, I'm sorry. Excuse me. I said Chance." "Oh ok. It sounded like Lance when you called from far away." "Yeah, I guess it could have." "Yeah." "Yeah. Great, Well I gotta go." The sun disappears behind a cloud and I am left alone. "Ok." Well, it's still a beautiful day, even if the sun is calling someone else. Though . . . it was a little awkward. |
