          High Noon

A dinosaur of old bones
Are my roots and fills my boots
Grumbling quills the overtones.

The sun is up, it's high noon
Wolves follow the pastured sheep
Babbling baa's of old tunes.

Phantoms ride my sanity
Festering on streaks of fear while
Feeding vectors vanity.

And ego plays clowns minion,
Offering up wild daffodils,
While watching o'er dominion.

WOW!!! This is a powerfully haunting piece, sweet friend, you always have such a way with describing emotions, this had me both thinking about the past and embracing the future with mild fear, envisioning it! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, the cadence here is awesome, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Babbling baa's of old tunes.
================================

and that will be the coolest line I'll read today
Stinky...your innuendo and metaphor in this is so clever and deep that I wont even fuss about the "old" references
Tell Randy to shake out them old bones and rattle your cage *L*

mothy me

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

On the dino's soaring bones
bubbles tar of melting stone
Randy's quick to leave, I think
before he teeters over brink...

[got my muse amused this morning...thanks to you...]
