Listening to every heart

Purple Twilight

In purple haze
of twilight time
he found her
in seasoned rhyme

he saw her form
he caressed her face
he took her to
his strong embrace

he loved her

In daybreak’s gleam
he searched his room
such was his dream
now filled with gloom

he loved her

on the street
in broad daylight
he searched first left
then to the right

he scanned all eyes
in those he found
searching for
the ones of brown

he loved her

his mind numb
soul wracked with pain
he went to his room
to await again

the purple haze
of twilight time
to find her
in seasoned rhyme

he saw her form
he caressed her face
he took her in
his strong embrace

and he loved her

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, somehow this poem made me feel lovesick reading this to envision waking up at sunrise and resting with the girl of my dreams close to my heart, loving her compassionately! (kiss on cheek) This is a gorgeous vision of majestic love, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

This was all encompassing in it's beauty and enhanced by the tenderness of your words.

No better way to spend the twilight time.

WOW! this is stronger'n an acre of garlic!!!!! Yanno?....I used to envy the ability of water to touch the female body all over at the same time...this kinda makes me think of that...of course, I haven't had my medication yet today and I only get out of this straight jacket for short periods of a time each day.....this poem reminds me of that too.....but my problem I think was purple haze from the late 60's.....LOL...seriously, this is very very good.....

And I love this!  This is very nice work, Karilea.  Your writing only gets better and better!

Earth will spin on as before
Gulls still race along the shore
Morning star, still kiss the dawn
