Thoughtlessness By Larry Chadwick People are so critical, Seems everyone is political. Saying things that are rude, Acting so totally crude. It appears they have a proclivity, For nothing but continual negativity. Not giving anyone or anything a chance, Always a boil in sight they should lance. Can’t just have a little chat, Need to knock this and that. Obviously gossip isn’t enough, They have to treat people rough. Don’t they ever tire of such behavior, Forgetting someday they’ll want a favor? At risk of being the victims of such acts, Wouldn’t they want others to use facts? Instead they drone on and on, And I wish they were gone. I’ve had enough of this stuff, I want more than empty fluff! Larry Hi there, well I’ll never be critical of you, your writing is wonderful. As mum has pointed out you are a fine writer. You write very well of everything, and you are an inspiration to me. I can’t rhyme but I have today been trying something new. I’ll see if it works. Your rhymes are perfect, and your writing is sublime. Is that fluff?  (big hugggssssss) Oh Larry, I couldn't agree with you more, dearest friend, it seems we are all put on peer pressure and I get the wrong impression from others and are always forced to have to act politically, I pray that someday life can be so much more simpler and friendly! A very well constructed piece! You decribed the careless thoughts of people to a "T" with well honed insight. It is ironic how these same people would never understand why someone would think the same of them though. Very good write! |
