As a cross 'It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last." ' NIV Luke 23:44-46 O God I feel your Love within my soul deep inside of me Spreading wide your wings across my breast in perfect ecstasy As I lie here in my bed with my skin turning bright beet red I can feel your power surging through my body as I spread. I feel this yearning that I'm learning capturing all of me As I look into your heavens filled with stars and galaxies All this bright light of Your Shine I drink in as Your Finest Wine I lie flat on my back, arms outstretched to make a cross divine. You have come to me in nightly dreams and visions in my sleep Now I know that all this joy I relish is Your Power deep I ask you please allow me, let me capture this ecstasy Write for them the joy so real, I feel, in words of poetry, And so I write tonight, my hot heat, my dream into this verse As I pen these flaming words to you my friend with no rehearse The Spirit of God is in me as I type upon my keys With all The Fire and Power to cleanse our mire with full release. All God asks is that we open wide the windows of our hearts Repent our sin as Love enters in to heal our broken parts. Accept His Gift, Love, I signify, arms open, As a Cross. As a Cross. Newell boy OH my this is incredible writing, you see how good a writer you are, you’ve always been excellent. The imagery you’ve used here is outstanding, the flow construction and presentation are superb. Is this good? Yes it is very very good. Actually it’s better than that but there’s only so many excellents I’m allowed per day and I shall soon run out of them.
