My Rainbow Will Have Its Moment |

In my prayers I reach for a reply In a guardian angel I ask for someone to join me Alone I look up into emptiness In words whispered in questioning tones I cry inside The darkness comes and takes over the replies A light refuses to go out so I shout inside my mind My eyes open up to the simplicity of existing in pain A pain of numbness in another empty page of life Blessed you are, for you have been given a purpose, but for what Others are always questioning your space to exist In warmth so deep that everything comes from it My purpose exists to float the universe with Time exists as a tyrant to take your breathe away But you must struggle with the temptation to give up the battle So I sleep in prayers that ask for a purpose to exist with Can words carry the beating heart throughout time To say I existed in God’s light My shadow says no but my spirit say I will be carried away in thoughts For in my emptiness lies the blossom of life escaping And the ghostly image dancing among the angels of hope To the morning when my sunlight will cover the darkness And my rainbow will have its moment And disappear in the smile within the corpse left Email me at davelyoung1@hotmail.com D.Lester Young (03/16/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 |

 (big hugggssssss) This is so very sad, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and these doldrums you've been experiencing, but I know deep down with all my heart that as every cloud has its rain, every rainbow will have its time to shine, and joy will come to your heart and bring a smile to your heart always as God's promise! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, my thoughts are with you always! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you!
