I dreamt I kissed
the Blarney Stone,
but woke up next to you.
No matter,
I decided
to go ahead
and kiss you too!
And in my dreams I danced and sang
atop the moors of mist.
And in the morning
my lips were sore
For 'twas the gravel road
I'd kissed!
Next year I'll leave
the brews alone
and maybe stay at home.
Do you believe that?
And if you do
please follow me
to visit the Blarney Bull,
and if you're lucky,
I'll kiss you too!

Aye, lads 'n lassies.
"Ave a great'un.

Oh dear, this may be a portend of things to come for me, as I go celebrating tomorrow. And if you're really staying home (which I don't believe for a minute) then I'll have some green beer for you too!!! Ouch, that gravel hurts!!!

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Wow, Tracey, thanks for finding this 'lost' poem. And be careful, lassie, as I know a bit about that green beer. Being part Irish and having lived with an Irish drinking clan, I've kissed a few Blarney Stones that weren't even in Ireland. BTW, "The Texas Steak Out" is the name of a music pub in Limerick, Ireland, and they have a bulls head, with horns of course, hanging over the entrance. Watch out for those pebblestone walkways, they are no fun to kiss!

Thanks for some great humor, Midnitesun...I made a note to self to fall face down in the grass--so I can grab a tuft and hold tight to keep from spinning off the face of the earth.
See...I can learn from others...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
