Remembering an Irish Sea And there you stand upon a sea shell Pearl ivory skin reflecting silken stars I fell into those lovely brown eyes smiling And lost my heart to lips of radient dyes The fire pits on windy moonless evenings Saw you dance with fervent life upon the air I watch enthralled with mounting inner burning The waves in rhythm with the blood of searing tears The dance of summers mounting tensions Begin with fires on the opal crust of rocky shores You stand there like a ghostly crimson vision An angel lost to salty music of ancient harbour lore I enhale the night of deeply salted seaside memories And take the dream of past romantic wanting love And there you’ll dance on a rythmic firery evening.. And I'll love you in my way, Remembering an Irish Sea. James Parker Haley [This message has been edited by Parker (03-16-2002 02:16 AM).] |

A most wondrous way to begin the greening of my week's end...and the play on words, ah Parker...you've pleased my heart! |

Just lovely. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

What a lovely way for me to start my celtic weekend Parker, i thoroughly enjoyed the visions in this one, thank you. The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives. |

Park, I love it when you write like this. When your love of all things Irish comes out. (Even though it makes me wish for things I can't have.) Happy St. Paddy's day, Park. Dee I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life. a brand |

This is a beautiful poem. And a perfect one for the season. (Hey has anyone invented green champagne yet?) Sandra |
