Outside My Window Challenge

Tree Thoughts of You

A pain through glass, my window-see
Aged and strong, so tall, that tree
Whose branches reached out
More than once to me
In climbs of hope, to someday be...

Surrounded, ground with hint of green
Daffodils, their blossoms unseen.
But the sun is shining and
Shadows what's left
The Spring cannot be winter-theft..

The streets are dried, were cleaned this week
No snow in sight, no winds to keep.
Outside my window,
I'm challenged to view
My see-thru fantasy, tree thoughts of you.

Enjoyed your view. Chris

Noah, sweet responses enjoyed.

Floria, it becomes much lovelier later on as the warmth of Spring appears and stays...*s

Chris, my view from this window was the only one I could catch ..wanted to see a cardinal in the tree but none came for me.

Thank you

I really like your rhyme scheme and the word choices in your weaving. A great read!
