Listening to every heart

Precipice

Precipice, precipice
Some whispered word rings eerily
Standing here in rapid winds
Craggy, this rock’s face a'fore me

Precipice, precipice
I face the fears inside my soul;
This cliff dares me the climb
With living on my only goal

Precipice, precipice
Mountain’s crag finds finger’s hold
And still the whisper in my mind
As if a bell’s been tolled

If I fall, the abyss swallows
The sheerest drop, my future known
Suddenly a metamorphosis
Into my soul a light is shone…

Prince of Peace, Prince of Peace
How fine the line so broken
From the precipice of unknown
The Prince of Peace has spoken

Where once I stood the precipice
Now Love gives the Prince of Peace

To coing a phrase...hauntingly beautiful...
We all have stood on this precipice at one
point in our lives...Can we hang on??

Or...shall we fall...

Gee Karilea...I kept looking at the word 'Precipice' and my palms got all sweaty...I'm afraid of heights!  LOL.
Seriously this is very well done and gives one food for thought....
can we indeed hang on?

(sigh) Oh Karilea, this is sooooooo beautiful, I feel as though I am currently standing on the precipice of my life, for there is so much I dream for like getting to meet the girl of my dreams and I am so anxious about what fate will bring me! (kiss on cheek) This is very powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

In every word, you find a poem... and paint the picture so vividly I'm dizzy from the heights. *S* Beautiful work, Sunshine.
