Mist Memories so hazy Drift through my mind Things that you did Things that I can’t forgive I try to remember But all I can see Is a veil of mist Clinging beads of shadows That change and move Dark and deceitful I wander through silently Frightened and so alone Knowing only I can exist here With the haunting memories Images that replay unfinished Like a broken movie reel

Tara - You can really feel the fright and the feeling of betrayal in this write. Well done. By the way, first stanza has a typo, s/b can in the 6th line. Dave |

Dave - Thank you for letting me know about the typo, I re-read it 3 times before I posted. I still missed it! And thank you for stopping in. |

(kiss on cheek) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, may loves joys come singing to your heart and give you sweet memories forever! We all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tara, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Noah - Thank you my friend Balladeer - The mist can help, in the beginning. Eventually it becomes blinding and suffocating. Thank you for reading. And you're welcome, I love reading your work [This message has been edited by rosepetals25 (03-12-2002 11:09 PM).] |

sometimes the mist can help sometimes the mist hides truth sometimes the truth blazes, trying to burn its way free crawling up from haze crawling up from dark sometimes truth is more important than sparing our feelings. i love you, honey. and i am always here to help you carry those memories, and maybe lay some of them to rest. -Dave |

Aw, Tara... so great! You're so great! I love it! I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers. |
