I Recall AMK 3/12/02 I recall your beautiful face staring up at me With love in your eyes of green and blue Feeling the delicate softness of your skin I've never witnessed a love that is more true When your lips touched mine in that first moment I closed my eyes thanking our sweet Lord above As my hands became tangled in your hair We whispered our words of love Feeling your body against me Sending shivers down my spine I held onto you tightly as we made love As I declared to the world you are mine I swear the Earth moved that day closer to Heaven Or perhaps Heaven just moved a bit closer to you and me All I know is a happiness I've never known entered my soul And it left me completely free And when the motion stopped and all was still I looked down into your loving eyes As you touched my face with your fingertips The room full of loving sighs I slipped the diamond onto your finger As I asked you to be my partner for life As tears of happiness and love rained down my cheeks You accepted my proposal to be my wife In those final moments when you were to depart I wished that time would stand still Knowing in my heart I'd been touched my an Angel Still though not quite believing it was real You told me that you loved me That you would soon return where you belong And as I pulled out from the airport parking lot I heard a familiar song... Have you ever by Brandy As I looked up at the sky I turned my eyes to see your plane The sunshine that had been pouring down Suddenly turned to rain I felt the tears wet upon my cheek As I gave you a soft goodbye Though it's not forever my love Still these tears I do cry You have my heart forever You are the only one for me I stand here before you a changed woman No longer blinded, I now can see You have my soul for always You broke the chains of pain It's with your neverending beauty and grace That I shall never be the same Jena... Thank you my love for all that you have done and continue to do. Being with you these past few days has been the ulitmate dream come true. I will see you soon if not in our dreams. Take care. Amy darling lil sis, OH MY STARS this is without doubt one of your utter best it is utterly wonderful. This poem is absolutely wonderful, it simply flows with love.
