This was written after 9-11, for all the firemen and all the brave men who were rescuers. HERO Hero, Risking your life. For humanity. You are human also, But, for the moment You forget that. Rescuing a man, A husband, You are a husband also, But, for the moment, You forget that. Rescuing a woman. A wife. You have a wife also, But, for the moment, You forget that. Rescuing a child. Children you have also. But, for the moment You forget that. Hero you are. And we shall never forget you. Floria |
