Me and My Gecko (Good Hawaiian Times) My gecko scoots across the wall whenever he has a notion. Apparantly he has suction pads on his feet that allow this range of motion. I suppose he snuck in when I left the screen door to the lanai opened one night and now he's decided he likes my place and won't leave without a fight. Now I'm not saying he is an unwelcome guest I'm just saying his entrance wasn't properly blessed. Catching his little gecko buddies was easy enough but capturing big daddy gecko has proved a little more than tough. I'd like to catch him and perhaps then I would put him back outside but he's so darn quick I can't catch him and I surely have tried. Happy to say I haven't noticed any centipedes since gecko moved in. I'm not sure if they faced off if big daddy gecko or mr. centipede would win. Someday I'll capture him and gecko's fate will be mine. Until then me and my gecko will share some good Hawaiian times. JamesLee March11 2002 Gecko...a tropical lizard with a short, stout body, a large head and suction pads on the feet. [This message has been edited by JamesMichael (03-11-2002 10:15 AM).] |

eek! Bugs! I say make him a permanent home and let him stay. I have never seen one except for in our pet stores and they are over $100.00 here (the one I saw was kind of greenish), so you've got yourself a treasure for free LOL, cute poem JM, but keep him, eeewwww, bugs!! The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives. |

(giggles) This is so adorable, sweet friend, may you and your gecko forever share many happy memories, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

"big daddy gecko" LMAO!!! I love it!!! I so want a gecko!!! LMAO!!! Definately into my library!!! I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers. |

Well James, I hate bugs and if gecko loved eating bugs and spiders, heck, if he moved in with me, I would even give him my room. great fun here, floria Floria |
