I dream in shades of lavender and blue.
These colors always remind me of you.
Swirls of silken memories pirouette in my head,
Each night as I climb up on my feather bed.

I have ethereal dreams almost every night,
none ever alarm me, or give cause for fright.
Some nights I can’t wait to get into my bed,
but I suppose it’s all in a dreamer's head.

I feel a feather light kiss brush my cheek at night,
then sense arms hugging and holding tight.
My eyes are closed; and I’m fast asleep,
but still I’d swear I heard someone weep.

I feel her sisterly kiss on my cheek so light.
Is it real or a dream in the darkness of the night?
A strange warm feeling washes over me I recall,
but then ever so softly, back to sleep I fall.

How strange I sensed I was hugged so tight,
for its impossible, in the middle of the night.
A dream maybe, perhaps, but I never want it to end,
for each time I wake up, I don’t feel you again.

Thank you everyone, as I said before I try to do one every Sunday to send her daughter, and this was the best I could come up with today.  I loved that pictures so much, it reminded me of her with her hair up. I am so glad I don't bore you with them, and send heartfelt thanks to each of you who read it.

I knew there was a reason Sundays were special
Beautiful Sharon...she is your sweetest muse.
Her daughter will have a treasure chest full of these soon.

This is beautiful and poignant. I don't know the story behind it, but it really tugged at my heart. Thank you for sharing those dreams.

Thank you all so very much for your kindness, and Janet Marie I only have about 6 more to do for the project then they will just be done for the sheer love of it.  She is putting together a book of these for her family when she has one (just got married) LOL.  Thanks again.
