I looked at your picture today
not quite deliberately
it was just there
but then I spent a moment
quite deliberately
looking at your picture

and I felt no love, no gladness
no satisfaction, no sense of justice
no torment, no betrayal

just puzzlement at what I’d once seen
I only wondered
what was I thinking?

It sounds as if all the emotional bondage that went with that person are finally gone.

Duncan...tis very to the point...and could
go both ways...one could find someone that
they didn't think made the grade....and then
did...

Hope your day becomes better for you...

(big hugggssssss) Oh Duncan, I think we can all relate to this feeling so much, people will always walk in and out of our lives, and sometimes we may discover that between yourself and another, there was nothing ever close or there was nothing in common, but there will always be those, even if only a few faces, of those that will always be our true friends for a lifetime! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Duncan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You were not thinking. But now that you are in control, play your cards right. And good luck

Duncan, that feeling of release is wonderful. It seems to creep up on you, doesn't it? I enjoyed this, made me smile with my own remembers.

Very real writing, but why, in the world, would you write about Balladeer in such a non-caring way?

Great poem anyway!

Funny how that happens huh? And isn’t it sad too? I wonder, is it because they change, we change, or they just aren’t who we think they were? You ponder well here Dunc. If you want to do any more pondering, let me send you some pic's of my ex...before I rip them up!!
Lmao at Balladeer. I didn't realize his pic had such an impact on you Dunc!!!

Actually, it was fun to write this, as I sat shaking my head at myself.  I considered going with the 'temporarily possesed defense'!  Thanks...Cowboy.

Sy
Ditto!  Thanks.

Kacy
Well, at times I think she's still the person living beneath my stairs...then I tell myself it's only a bad dream.  Thanks.

Nightshade
Hey, that could be a bumper sticker!  Glad and sorry you could relate.

Barry
Thanks, my days don't stay bad for too long it seems.  I'm coming to appreciate your poetry quite a bit.

Noah
You get it, as always...thanks!

walker
Exactly!  Though, me in control...now there's a scary thought!

Dee
It was fun because it was such a feeling of release.  I love it when I'm understood.  Thanks.

Michael
Please, let me explain!  I cherish, even worship your pic!  I gaze at it for hours, daily.  But where's the 8x10 autographed copy Tracey was supposed to bring me?  Did she keep it herself?  Hhhmmmm.

vandana
Thanks, I'm glad you stopped by.

Floria
A bit too real, sometimes.  Thank you!

Sunshine
He's my poetic hero!  It's all a big misundertanding!  Thanks for the laugh and the time.

Lyra
Ok, now my tails really between my legs.  I'm so sorry to have caused such pain.  (btw...yer a nut and that's a compliment)

Trace
We were on a roll there for a bit, huh?
Now reality has smacked us both upside the head.  Is ok, the ghosts will clear eventually.
I've been keeping the Balladeer thing from you but I'll work through it, I promise, just give me a little time, ok?

This Diamond
Thanks for the time and the response.  How come I'm so much smarter looking back?

Tara
Glad to make ya laugh!

Sandra
Ha...indeed!  Hope it made ya smile.
