And when, at last, I'm all alone with naught but thoughts to call my own, the night time wraps around me, chill and black... The time is perfect now, you see The perfect time for reverie Before tomorrow starts, I must look back... To learn the lessons as they come by looking at them one by one is how it always works for such as me... Then, if I must, I right the wrong, before I start tomorrow's song The tune is sweeter, from such reverie... Forget my foes, but bless the friends who've said I needn't make amends, because we all are human in our ways... So, now I think I'll close my eyes Give reverie it's sure demise My slate is ready, for another day... The road goes on forever, and the stories never end! |
