Upon the rocks of life a heart falls
dashed to shards,  within a breast.
Knowing what it must,  what it calls.
Wishing all will be, be the best.

Listen to the sound of heart in loss.
Hear the winds of love flow through
Know that the moments churn and toss
as this heart, in loss does beat to.

I leave my heart, my soul at a road
a road taken long,  a path winding
I left my heart, to lighten a load
though my mind reels,  is unrelenting.

And as my journey does go along
and thoughts become right, not wrong
Know that this heart is filled true
with thoughts, love,  from me to you.

I have felt a bit tossed on the rocks lately,
but it look like a pleasant resolution in this poem.
Nice job, Barry.

I quote Conan the Barbarian now, "What does not Kill you makes you stronger"  as with your heart I envision it now hitch hiking that lonely stretch of "road taken long" trying to catch up with you. Loved the poem.... Great Write.

(sigh) There will always be rapids we must encounter downriver in life, but once we find love within ourselves and learn to find joy in ourselves, it will always be clear sailing from here! (big hugggsssss) Wev all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Been there recently.  But now we are friends and, if anything, our relationship is stronger and deeper. WONDERFUL WRITING!!!

I have a poem about rocks somewhere...
I shall have to find, in order to share...

In the meantime, I read your words
Please know now, that I felt, and heard...

Magnus, thanks for sharing this. We all stumble on the rocks of life, and  must just keep stepping forward looking for sunshine.
