I came out of work and a note was stuck to my windshield
its said "call me if you would like to sell your car
leave your name and number and i will get back to you"
why would anyone offer to buy my car, just out of the blue?
it was an 87 Monte Carlo..emerald and the top was vinyl white
It was signed Toby..maybe the Travolta guy from the disco night
i remember he asked me where i worked
I told my husband about the note
he said" i bet you its that jerk"
and he took it from me, he didnt gloat
as he stuck it in the pocket of his gray sportscoat
I imagine he called Toby but i was afraid to ask
i wonder to this day..if it was a John Travolta mask?

Oh Victoria, I was hoping for a series. You are good at this...leading us on!

Now maybe if you were to get the note back out of his pocket and make that call....see if it was a mask afterall.

maureen..yes when i get writers block i have to resort to memories ha..

although i started another book after that ha
