When I look outside my front window There is nothing there to see But, if I look outside my back window There are so many trees Aside from the trees out in the back Are my two goats and my llama The goats love to play with a sack The llama acts like she is their mama Sometimes you can see a squirrel Running and playing on our shed Alot of birds cover the yard Some of them are even red Then there are the abandoned dogs Which my husband saw fit to bring home One of which is going to be a mother So there will be more to come There is a canyon behind our house Covered with so many, many trees The canyon leads right to our pond You can sit there and feel the breeze When you open up the back door All of the cats are there to eat They jump up on the hand rail Then they jump down on their feet But, when you look out my front window There is nothing there for me to see Just a great big grassy pasture Where all of the cows are running free © By Sue 3-9-02 |

What beautiful scenery. Sure beats looking at tall buildings and dirty garbage. ((SmartChick)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

How cool, to have a llama and goats. Cows are cool too. Farmer Sue, do you write poetry or sketch while you sit by the pond? I'll bet Titia would love to visit your neck of the woods. |

WOW SmartChick, you've met my challenge beautiful. When I close my eyes I see your backyard and all the things you've described. When I hit the jackpot I'll come over to visit you. Oh WOW I'm dreaming of pastures and canyons tonight. Thank you very much for letting me peek into your backyard. Titia A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... |

Madame Chipmunk, I am glad you like it. Let me know when you write yours, so I can be sure and read it. Silver Streak, I am glad you enjoyed it. Midnitesun, I am too worried about snakes to be able to sit by the pond and write. Titia, I am really happy that you like the challenge I did for you. This canyon isn't like the grand canyon, but a canyon is what they call it around here. |
