Let that special soemone be plain
let your love for the ordinary ordain
I mean if looks are so important for you
why not look back and examine this human zoo.

let your love life be exceptional for you
but let that special one be simple and true
complicated lives rest in foyers after dark
joy rests brief when the target is a lark.

sing a tune of merriment when the catch is clear
that song becomes a detriment if the bait is dear;
relish savory moments with expectations within your grasp,
ah, but life teaches us to reach higher, for superior levels we must pass!

contradictory items listed in this muse on staying plain
while coming into the world we learn opportunities are here to gain,
and if looks are still more valuable than the make up of the mind
evidence repeatedly shows that there is something else to find.

Some of the most beautiful souls are in the plainest of people. Beautiful hearts too. And I have known some Beautiful looking people who were ugly, because their insides were ugly.. Nice write Ecrivan. floria
