It Takes Two

It takes two to have an argument,
You cant argue with just you.
It takes two to make up and say your sorry
To do this it takes two.

It takes two to break a heart apart
And pierce a heart with sorrow.
It takes two to shatter all the dreams
Planned for a new tomorrow.

It takes two to love with feelings deep
When another life is conceived.
It takes two to love this newborn child
This new blessing you've received.

So never blame the other person
When things start to go wrong.
For it takes two to bring up a family
And help the children grow in love strong.
