I got lost in the spaces
That lie between thoughts
And actual expression

No starry eyed novice am I
But the yearly addition does not tell
The whole of it, nor deny the truths

Still I found myself in the spaces
As I read your words
Painting the images for me
Telling me of your depths
And I could not escape
The void

I am left wandering here
Empty feeling emptier,
Bare handedly reaching
To feel my way around
This vacant maze

I am lost

Will you search for me?

Just whistle Ron and I will come in your direction!  If I reach out my hand to you, will you take it?  Great write!

Through darkness
a warmth
came by way
of feel

then it came
my way
by feel
in your light

Cpat...this is excellent and conveys feelings that I am sure are experienced by many of us.

Still I found myself in the spaces
As I read your words
Painting the images for me
Telling me of your depths
And I could not escape
The void

I, too...often feel lost in a maze here...and I am also addicted to this place...but then...I probably have an addictive personality.  Luckily I am more addicted to words than to substances.

If you are still looking
to be found

turn around

but if you found yourself
now that time
has passed,

tell me when you are lost
again

and I will
join you

wow.......its like reading all of my poems, condensed into one...that is exactly what I was doing...searching for me, sending out signals asking for someone to help me find me...until someone did...word for word they wrote themselves to be exactly what I needed...until I realized that's what was happening and stopped writing words for them to act and react from, and suddenly my prince charming was 'no more'........sigh
you are finding yourself, I did...just keep writing
