Next To Silence

I sit next
to silence
stays here
by my side
that is not
the worst part
which would be
the roar inside
I don’t want
another morning
to wake up
here alone
is the
not knowing
better than
the unknown
I can’t stand
this silence
it echoes a heart’s
loudest degree
there is
a deeper story
it is all
a part of me

As long as you reside here at Passion's you will never be alone

isn't it a truism that silence echoes the loudest
in the empty chambers of the heart?
We all want someone to know the deepest part of us,
yet seldom is that person anywhere to be found.

quite an endearing self-write, Slickest Lady!
Enjoyed the layout as well.

Silence...or words left unsaid.  Both can be deafening.

silence is good, but it can also make me think too much. Nice read.

1slick_lady - silence can be very devestating, especially when one waits for a single word...
