Kiss of Dreams

(Hope this is subtle enough to post here)

You take me gently in your arms
and we kiss a kiss of dreams,
as your lips softly linger
I begin to float, or so it seems.

Your touch ignites a fire within
from your hands so softly placed,
and then you wrap me tightly in
your passionate embrace.

As we press so close together
there’s only one thought on my mind;
then our love melts us into one,
both souls and bodies are entwined.

Floating, floating, o’er the clouds
higher than the eagles soar
'til our heated passion ebbs into
a memory forever more.

Then I lay softly in your arms
and we kiss a kiss of dreams,
and linger in that timeless place
where we still float, or so it seems.
