standing on a shadow's lace

You Call Me Brave

you call me brave
but it is more a mask
worn in endurance
when I am alone
I still cry
does that disappoint
you in weakness
I do not run
from my pain
it is just at times
I can not afford
to be weak
for the cost
would be higher
than my sadness

You know 1slick, I have found that tears are such a great release. I cry a lot when I am sad. this was very heartfelt. floria

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Helen, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I too find expressing tears to be important so we can open ourselves to others sincerely with compassion!
