In the moonlight, on a cool starry summers night A young couple sits on the front porch on an old wooden swing Hands held fast and close to their heavy beating hearts They look up together to see the stars as they twinkle on and off He turns and looks at her and sees the beauty within her A beauty seen only in the stars, a beauty so deep and pure He smiles at her as she turns to sees him looking and he steals a kiss A kiss that was so simple and yet so meaningful For his love for her was so strong and full And on this porch this cool summers night his hand is shaking He reaches in a pocket that hide something special He turns and knees and takes her hand and asks her to marry him She looks him in the eye as a tear falls from her face For her love for him is just the same, her lips tremble as she says okthis is a very rough poem i need help fixig it up. please help.. May the mystic waters flow to inspire you to write a poem |

oh common now honey.... I don't think that this poem is so rough.. and I do remember a few kisses like that.... but asking for her hand in marriage... I had to BUG you for that for a long time.... (this happenned 2 years ago today.) and by the way, where was that swing again.... your loving wife, Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. But above all... be kind to yourself today. [This message has been edited by Magicmystery (02-28-2002 12:03 AM).] |

This is sweet. I believe congrats are at hand! An offering of a precious memory and heart. I didn't find it rough at all...it is tender in fact. May you both continue the moment in time's loving hands. Thank you for sharing. Sincerely, Regina |

Honest? I have to be honest Mystron?? You'll have to wait until I stop giggling. No, it is good really, and I enjoy hearing about your romance with Sherry. It did have a cute ending... NO! not the romance, the poem! Your romance goes something like...and they lived happily ever after. Good stuff here! ~Magical smiles, Nancy~ ~Time has cast a spell on you, |

Thank you all for your words of insparation. And even if it never happened that way it is what is in my heart and it is great that we as poets can express our feelings and dreams. Thank you again all. You are a good poet as soon as you try to reach others with your words. |
