The journey of this life
A single conscious thought
To rise above the strife
Attain the peace I sought

And for a while now
The goal has been in sight
So here it is somehow
Achievements of my might

The quiet spells surround
These fears that won't abate
In freedom that I found
A prison I create

And as I look beyond
These fortunate of days
A longing for the bond
To share as future plays

The passage to the floor
Another phase to span
In views that I adore
To find these dreams I can

And as I learn the art
Of climbing down again
These fears must now depart
The mountain I decend
