I thought about you all day long,
And well into the night.
And pondered conversations,
Wondered if you’d taken flight…

So fly away my angel-
And soar to lands unknown.
And think about this cowboy…
After you have flown.

Think about the things I said,
As the days flow by…
About my poetry you’ve read-
Who taught you how to fly…

And if the distant lands and clime,
Do not appeal to thee-
I’m still out here upon the plains,
So please return to me.

(big hugggssssss) This is sooooo beatifully bittersweet, sweet friend, I hope the angel of your life will always remember you and forever wrap you in her wings and touch your heart with rapture forever! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you always amaze me how you express your thoughts and stories! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet John, thank you for sharing!
