“LEFT SOMETHING BEHIND”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
At times I reminisce,
wondering about time,
for it disappears
very quickly, and can
never be regained…
Then I reflect about
the beauty I’ve seen,
the loves known,
and the serenity
which has entered
my spirit…
I thought perhaps a
difference hadn’t been
made with things I’ve
done, but now know
one has been made,
however small…
If anything, I have
have left something
behind, these writings,
which have come from
deep inside me,
for you…
Bill darling boy Such an outstanding and wonderful piece of writing, I’ve read fabulous pieces from you before this is simply stunning. Truly you’ve outdone yourself darling boy.
I know what you have left behind darling heart, you’ve left behind awesome beauty and amazing wondrous writing. When YOU write you really write, this is utterly utterly fabulous.
Love and warm stuff
The truth of the poet...that the writing comes from deep within...for others...
so, so true...
oh Bill, I feel the same way. And all I can hope for is that my writings will continue to be shared after I'm gone.
So true, Bill...
and the older we get, the faster time goes.
Thanks for sharing this one...
~hugs~
BTW...I think you can turn time back if you drive westward throught the time zones...
If I drive to Chicago from here, I can gain an hour LOL....but then I lose it again when I go home...OH Well!
