And touch God "because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." NIV Mark 5:28 As I read your words and linger Stretching far my poet fingers Desiring much to touch your ecstasy I know we're blessed with gifts, divine You have yours and I have mine And we're on fire to fly higher, soar free. As I hear you sing golden songs I know a poet does no wrongs As long as he or she, you, me speak true. For when we reach and touch and feel It's God's own heart we pen as real. Our call to all humanity, to do, A poet's touch, with healing, free God's sweetest gift to you and me And so join me, let us fly heavenly, Touch far blue skies, paint new rainbows Paint ev'ry thought, as image flows Come! Come ev'ry one, let's write poetry. And touch God.
