Just a note…he said
Just a note…by my bed
Just a note, of heart, and hand
Just a note…and it led

My mind to thoughts of only him
My heart, taken by his whim
My love, to one so dear
That I shall always keep him here…

Just a note, speaking words
That for a moment, go unheard
Just a note…one little thing…
That gave my heart the song it sings…

~*~

Just a note, to soon be found
lying lonely on the ground...

I wondered if you'd find it
Beautiful work!

(big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, this is sad but so very beautiful, sweet friend, I hope that these thoughts just waiting to be expressed will be shared when they can actually meet face-to-face in serendipity! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Soleil, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh boy I read this three ways three times and came up with three different scenarios, so that is a good thing right?  In other words I really liked it three times.

certainly an intriguing response, soleil. I, too, can read it different ways. It was very uplifting and yet the ending brought it down to earth a bit. Good poetry can leave one wondering....thank you for joining me
