Not going to hold you back...my experience with an anxiety & depression tells me anxiety attacks are the result of adrenaline, usually brought on by stress of some sort, which leads us to a physical desire of "fight-or-flight"--the anxiety attacks results from "doing nothing." And depression? Sort of the same. "Depression is anger turned inward."--chuckling...not sure who to credit that quote with--got if off of M*A*S*H! So talk...I hope I'll be available later...if not? swap e mail through my yahoo address...I am still chained to the cliff here, awaiting sacrifice... |

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the microwave? Makes a certain amount of sense, at least until you start wondering what Chris was doing in the microwave in the first place. Then again, rumor has it that Phoenix, Arizona IS a microwave. |

Arizona IS a microwave - that's why I'm moving... And I changed my mind. I don't want a man who cooks. I want a man who needs to be waited on hand and foot, needs a good massage every night, needs me to iron his shirts, mow the lawn, clean the house, wash the car, do all the shopping (especially holiday gifts for HIS family), cooks good hardy meals, walks the dog (right after I do my clothes shopping at Fredericks of Hollywood and Victoria's Secret). |

I think you misunderstood, Chris. Sharon said she needs a man who can cook. Not a man who can BE cooked. See, Sharon, that's the whole problem with women. They always want SO much. |

I usually get tossed OUT of the kitchen - I have a tendency to cook the wrong stuff... or to cook the right stuff wrong.. and to make a pretty good mess while I'm doing it... Hang on, Sharon - We'll cook one up for ya.. |

I've reached a point where I am going to have to say something soon. It's driving me crazy!!! Hmmmm.... holding you front is considered sexual harrassment.... mikey makes salads... the microwave is not a place to play, even if you are follwing gremlins... Phoenix is more like a convection oven than a microwave.... I cook....( quite well thank you)... we all feel under appreciated at times.... frustrations will accumulate like dust and are easier to clean out if addressed before they do.... My apologies for butting in..... |

Only Serenity, in her wisdom, has stumbled onto the real reason for this rant. I won't spell it out here though but I've enjoyed the direction this has taken and appreciate the comments you all have made. |

Blame this on the meticulous nature of a programmer, but wouldn't it be more correct to say that Karen is the only one to have communicated her understanding of the reason for the rant? |

Sharon, I would never presume. I'm just suggesting that even those who chose not to voice a guess might have, nonetheless, made a guess. All of those guesses, save Karen's, are probably wrong. But … |

Rant and Rave!!!!! ( smiling) If it makes you feel better.... Sometimes the ability to let it roll off your back is inded a virtue... I don't posses, others, it comes without struggle. I assume for you too.... but can you tell me why poems don't get replies? Can you ...huh?????? (laughing and ducking out the door) |

(climbs up ladder and taps squirrle on shoulder) Where you get that salad dude? To DeVine... ( with a sniffle and a whine) ;> I feel so sorry for all the poor poets that don't get read and noticed... not me of course cause I've been rejected and overlooked all my life...but they don't handle it as well as I do...and so they quit posting.. ( adding a perfectly timed wipe of eye) Besides....the reason they don't is because they don't belong and some here can be so closed to anyone new....( with slight indignant look) Besides.... so many here are not poets...there works don't rhyme...and they write trash..... ( climbs down off the ladder and looks at Ser) What you munching on Sis? Got a drink to go with it? You do! Great! can I see it a moment? ( runs out the door with Ser's drink trying to keep his head low) [This message has been edited by Cpat Hair (09-20-2002 07:02 PM).] |

Mmmm. Yep, those sexy outgoing girls often glow. But experience suggests those quiet ones, when they finally decide to leave their self-imposed corner, have the potential to nova. |

Hmmmmmm.... As autumn falls and winter looms ahead - and all the squirrels and chipmunks are sequestering their nuts for the season - One thing I've learned for sure - Even though they taste really good... They're not the only thing that's good for dinner - The salad is just as good without them - Nuts are definitely optional.. |

"But experience suggests those quiet ones, when they finally decide to leave their self-imposed corner, have the potential to nova." Self-imposed? Ah...that could stand up for a bit of debate. But the sentence still stands if those two words were left out, and I do enjoy the thought of this. |

There's hardly any Wendy's in Southern California. I can always go to In 'N' Out if I don't mind the line (they should call it In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' Out). McDonald's makes me physically nauseous. Whenever I eat their "food," I feel like I have to throw up after. Carl's Jr. is okay, but I so prefer Subway. Ah ha! Perfect! *headin' to lunch for real, now* |

Mm, give me a foot long turkey and ham with everything (including avocado and pepperccini), on wheat or one of those specialty breads, if so inclined. It's great though, 'cause of my height? I seem to bring out the nurturing side of female servers. They pack my subs so full, contents are spilling out the side. Um.......................................... I think I need to reread Unripe words. Much of what I just said could be taken out of context to hilarious effect. Or affect, if you've got problems. (wha?) Ramblin'Squirrel |
