You know what I'm talking about. That one movie that for some reason always makes you teary-eyed, though you sometimes won't admit it. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours. |

Um...which one DOESN'T, would be a shorter list..lol. I cry at so many movies, it's not even funny. But..the one that people tease me about the most?... Um...Bambi.. As one, not so understanding friend puts it? "Yes, Vicky...it's very sad when the animation man stops drawing the mother deer." What can I say?...I'm a sap! I'm not kidding- I don't cry during movies. but songs make me cry even when they aren't that sad. I am a music nut. but movies..sometimes I force myself to cry..just to remind myself that I still have feelings. am I all alone? insanity is not a crime [This message has been edited by Wind (08-02-2003 10:15 PM).] |

yeah -- now old yeller -- that one made me cry when I was six years old I'll have to second Bravehart, and Green Mile -- a few others; Lonesome Dove Star Trek II -- Wrath of Khan (Spock dies) Patton True Grit Bladerunner Gladiator Truman The History Channel um -- is there a pattern here? so I'm a sucker for brothers in arms schtick enuff testosterone -- a few sappy ones; Always Duets (although, again -- the friendship between the salesman and the con is what gets me) Kpax It's a Wonderful Life (although since Carvey did the alternative ending Schtick on SNL all I can think of when I see it now is 'Hey -- old man Potter had the money all along -- let's kick him to death!' Family Man Peggy Sue Got Married Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (if the scene where Spencer Tracey outlines everything to the kids and says if it's 'half of what he and Kate had -- that's everything' -- if you can't see how real it is in Kate's eyes -- you're not human.) |

I haven't cried at a movie since I was 12 and I was watching "Snoopy Come Home"... however that ending scene in Ghost got me slightly misty... as I was bitching at my girlfriend for crying.. lol We see the light of those |

Edward Scissorhands made me tear up too. Here's more: A Walk To Remember Benny and Joon Star Trek Nemesis (did I spell that right? My boyfriend is a trekkie and he made me go with him, but I got all teary eyed when Data blew up.. what can I say?) that's about all I can think of right now. |

A lot of movies make me cry... for obvious reasons though, such as The Pianist, esc.. where, you know, you're supossed to cry? I won't bore you with that long list (Anything about Jesus, Titanic, Braveheart, Pearl Harbor, esc..) but I'll confess of a movie that isn't even really sad, but I cried. Not just "sniff sniff" cry, but "WAAAAAAH!"... and it was in front of the school too.. they showed it for the Thanksgiving gift thing.. It was.. Spider-Man HE DIDN'T HOOK UP WITH THE GIRL BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SPARE HER THE PAIN AND... WAAAAH! I'm sad *hangs her head* Oh, make me Thine forever And should I fainting be Lord, let me never ever Outlive my love for Thee [This message has been edited by LoveBug (08-04-2003 08:11 PM).] |
