Passing notes through a blur unseen
tracing silhouettes along the edge
strung out in a pointless fray,
unraveling.

Balancing shadows in the light of day
my slip shows in the moonlight,
bestowing the clarity
leading into the darkness.

As Clouds roll in slow motion
convinced of my own reflection
that it is I who am a contradiction,
unsettled.

Like a snow glob tipped upside down
hanging in the mist,
lingers tenaciously between the sea and sky,
down pouring on my bliss.

As expected, the star lights are endless no shows
like the obscurity of meaningless alibis,
concluding my rendezvous in blue
save for the sunburn on my lips.
