What is the cure For a battered and broken heart? When the one you love the most Rips your world apart When you once seen feelings That you thought were oh so true But now there's nothing there And you're left without a clue I used to feel love When I looked into your eyes And now I start to wonder Was that all just a disguise? Nan Love's fanciful like blush of spring Embraced by mirthful ray Blithe synergy as birds on wing A tandem flight its way Love's like a weald of buttercups Assent to breeze's sway Vast golden meadows reaching up From gilded bed they lay Love's fancy best unplucked on lea As floret blooms array As lovebirds freed fly marri-ly Love freed shall find its way Waft every crest upon your destined sea Embrace the Wave of Serendipity Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy Refurl with sail for all eternity Nancy Ness [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 05-07-2001).] |

I enjoyed this very much, you two...such differing feelings..both well done, one sunny, one dark...Yes, love can be both. |

Nice work you two, I found this to be very original. I really like how you put this together, the question and an answer thing really worked out superbly. Great work you two! ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

I sincerely thank you all for your kind words - Writing fresh material on an age-old subject can be quite a challenge.. Writing with you was a pleasure, Jesse... |

Doubt and reassurance... I like how you wrote this, it's a good example of how the duet club is meant to work. Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world. |

Tonight's my night, for doing things I should already have done, and reading poems I should long since have read...each a major pile! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
