been a while....tell me the truth
cold yet painless hours are spent
counting the scars you have been
cursing me with...all starting with a girl
the way i held my hand in yours
you would feel me shaking but you don't notice
to you a doll paint brown and black/white
wishing and praying i could leave
but i stay because you said every day you cared
what did i believe in that it was a lie
you wanted the pain coursing through your veins
to me transferred in a metallic way
only you would posess...only you could
forgotten how to remeber because my mind
was your victim and the life you spent
you made no sense but i would have killed
to have been loved like i should have

i don't want to hold on anymore
so let go into the darkness my fingers will
allow me the kiss of a gentle landing
as i throw myself into a black abyss...

oooh and ouch.

I know the pain of this one. You present all the vulnerable pain and questions with a subtle impact here.

You conveyed the emotion so well I find myself typing this with slumped shoulders.
