Fine tune the strings of my heart
and you shall hear the sounds of
a nightengale
in joyous rapture of life;
sweetest chords of poetic harmony
tuned to the flow of Passion's day
as it glows in brightest sun light
then fades delicately into
darkest ebony, a midnight sky
filled with a twinkle of golden starlight
seemingly flung randomly across the skies.
Feel my heartstrings as they vibrate
the sounds of love and harmony,
echoing for all ears to fill
with songs of peace and goodwill,
a poetry of the love of life
sung on the winds of changeless time
to the ears, eyes and mind
of each soul who would
but listen with an open heart.
