I could never learn
that something as ugly,
ugly as you
could create splendor,
too beautiful
to be real.

And for a second there-
I touched light,
you brought color to my grey.

This red light shining through
glass walls and iron bars,

And I am helpless,
struggle would be self destruction
when caught within
this web of lies.

It ends right were we started,
and I'd be a fool
to speak again

But tonight is cold,
and I long for warmth

So wrap me up,
wrap me up
and pull me down…

These strings weren’t made for music

Reading these lines at first i thought this was a poem about me

Seriously though Liz, this is amazing writing your writing gets stronger and stronger with a depth of one who's aged beyond her years

maybe Raphael...just maybe it was the fact that I didn't go to sleep until 4:30 last night, and I was going insane.

Liz, you have so many layers within your writing. I love the way you explore all the dimensions of your heart and mind, and then find ways to gift us with bits and pieces of YOU.
I enjoyed this write, sweet gal.

at a risk of sounding cheesy...you always bring colour to my grey.

and the ending?

a masterpiece.

i want to steal the ending!!!!

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Cheese in moderation, always in moderation. I like to keep my cheesy outbursts to a minimum.

A spider! I like. found a humumgous one in my bath, I caught him in a pint glass and set him freeeeeeeeeeee.

never drown spiders, however big or small, theyre nice!
p.s
i thought i was replying, then i hit the button, and realised i was starting a new topic when it told me i had not entered a title.
see? cheesiness did me no good.

So wrap me up,
wrap me up

and I know I am a chicken and tonight I will be lieing in be for hours (as usual) not able to sleep because I am afraid of unknown forces.

but the song is pretty...honest...just...
